Family Shark Fishing (Inshore)
Daily • 3 or 4 Hours • Private • April-Sept • Ages 5+Join us on this inshore Shark Fishing adventure aboard what we think are the most comfortable sharkin' vessels in the Lowcountry. We recommend an evening excursion (usually about 6-9 PM) during prime shark catchin' hours for the most excitement as well comfortable temperatures that cool off as the trip goes on. You'll also have the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful Lowcountry sunset, and we usually see dolphins along the way!
Very active shark species make for good catch-and-release excitement including:
Black Tip Sharks
Bonnethead Sharks
Hammerhead Sharks
Sharpnose Sharks
Finetooth Sharks
In addition to sharks, we might catch other species such as Bluefish, Ladyfish, Redfish, Spanish Mackerel and more.
Our Shark Fishing Charters are geared towards fun and comfort. They're an ideal excursion for a family or small group looking for an inshore fishing adventure during the warmer months.
In some cases, this inshore Shark Fishing can be combined with other activities on a Private Custom Adventure. While we think evenings are ideal for shark fishing, it is possible to create these experiences earlier in the day, upon request.
The Family Shark Fishing excursion is great for adults and kids alike. Families with children aged 5+ will find this an excellent fit, and we adjust the activities and experience to suit the group. While it's a private trip and we can take up to 6 passengers, this works best with 2 adults with kids. Our recommendation is to split larger groups between two vessels, and we can fish side-by-side for an experience to included everyone together, turning it into a friendly fishing tournament!
